MORE ABOUT Mango

Mango began in 1984 with a single store in Barcelona and quickly grew into a global fashion brand. The company offers a wide range of clothing and accessories for women, men, and children, reflecting a Mediterranean influence in its collections. It expanded internationally in 1992, launched pioneering e-commerce in 2000, and introduced Mango Kids and a loyalty programme in the following years. In 2023, Mango celebrated 30 years of international growth, opened on New York’s Fifth Avenue, and launched a bold sustainability strategy, becoming Spain’s first major fashion brand to publish its full supplier list.

Mango's business model centres on design, innovation, and sustainability. All garments are designed in Barcelona by a team of over 500 professionals, producing two major collections annually and introducing new product capsules every two weeks to stay aligned with global trends. The company operates a comprehensive distribution system that integrates physical stores, franchises, wholesale, and an online platform, supported by advanced logistics capable of handling over 170 million garments per year.

Mango’s HR values centre on passion, inclusivity, and well-being. They foster a diverse and supportive environment where creativity, collaboration, and an entrepreneurial spirit are encouraged, while prioritising employee health, safety, and continuous development. Sustainability is embedded in Mango’s business strategy, guided by a dedicated department since 2002.

Their approach focuses on circular product design, reducing environmental impact, empowering teams, and collaborating across the value chain to drive positive social impact—all aligned with global initiatives like the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Retail Awards & Recognition

Mango has been honoured with the Camera Spagna-Italia All'Internazionalizzazione Award by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Italy, recognising its strong international growth and expansion in the Italian market. Over the past three years, Mango has opened more than 30 new stores in Italy, growing from 73 in 2021 to over 100 expected by the end of 2024. With a presence in major cities like Rome, Milan, Florence, and Genoa, Mango is also refurbishing key locations to reflect its fresh, Mediterranean-inspired "New Med" concept.
